Former Alabama Commit Sina Taking Visits
6-1 guard has been on the campuses of Penn State and Seton Hall recently
Jaren Sina is back on the open market and taking full advantage of his newfound freedom.
Having recently decommitted from Alabama, the 6-foot-1, 175-pound 2013 point guard from Gill St. Bernard's in New Jersey has taken unofficial visits to Penn State and Seton Hall.
"[Penn State] was great," Sina said of his Sunday visit. "I got a chance to check out the campus and meet some of the players and coaches and watch a practice."
Sina also visited Seton Hall last week. The Pirates are in need of a point guard of the future after Jordan Theodore graduates next spring.
"It was a good visit, watched practice," Sina said. "I'll definitely look at it. I like Seton Hall."
Still, he said, "Distance is not a factor."
Alabama, Virginia, Georgetown, Miami, Rutgers, Florida State, Michigan, Cincinnati, Clemson, Syracuse and West Virginia have also reached out.
"All my options are still open," he said. "But I'm just going to go through it and look at it."
