White Weighing Options on Fifth Visit
One of the top wing forwards in the Class of 2012, Andrew White is still mulling his next move. The 6-foot-6, 205-pound White has taken officials to Kansas, West Virginia, Louisville and Texas and said he is still weighing whether to take a fifth official visit.
"I'm still trying to figure it out," White, out of Chester (Va.) Miller School, told FiveStarBasketball.com by phone.
Among the schools in the mix for the fifth visit are Virginia Tech, N.C. State, Miami, Richmond, George Mason and Cincinnati, among others.
"I don't know when I'm going to take the fifth visit," he said.
West Virginia has dropped out of his recruitment, but White said none of the other schools were leading at this point.
"No sir, I'm getting a lot of attention from a lot of different people," he said.
As for a timeframe on deciding, White is looking to sign during the early period in November.
"I'm looking to decide in a couple weeks," he said. "Just going day by day."
Wherever he lands, White figures to make an impact relatively soon.
"I'm going to be a knockdown shooter, that's what I'm coming in college to do," he said. "Shooting the ball, getting out in transition, I'm a strong rebounder. Right now, I'm just trying to get my IQ up so I can do a little bit of everything."
