Bill Self, Kansas land Brannen Greene
Jayhawks pick up their second commitment for 2013 class
Brannen Greene will don blue after all. Kansas blue, that is.
The 6'7" forward from Forsyth, Georgia (Mary Parsons H.S.), is taking his talents Lawrence to play for Bill Self in 2013 Greene chose the Jayhawks over Connecticut, Florida, Florida State, Harvard, Louisville, Memphis and Ohio State.
He confirmed the news in modern-day fashion by retweeting ESPN Recruiting Analyst Dave Telep.
"@b_greene14 RT @DaveTelep: Brannen Greene to Kansas. Done."
Greene will join Conner Frankamp, a 6'0" floor leader from Wichita (Wichita North), as the Jayhawk's two-person recruiting class for 2013.
Ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 35 overall player in 2013, Greene gives Bill Self additional scoring power. He can knock it down from mid-range and find the gaps in transition to finish plays.
Self has already loaded up on his 2012 class, netting a quintet of talent, including Five-Star rated forward Perry Ellis, and capable big men Zach Peters (Plano, Tex./Prestonwood Christian) and Landen Lucas (Portland, Ore./Westview).
Andrew White (Chester, Va./Miller School) and Anrio Adams (Seattle, Wash./Rainier Beach) have also committed for 2012, but have yet to sign.
