Pure Dominance

Muhammad makes it look simple at the high school level

There are many reasons that Shabazz Muhammad is such a highly regarded prospect - on Monday afternoon in Springfield, MA at the 2012 Spalding Hoop Hall Classic, Muhammad put on his latest display of dominance, dropping 37 points in a 73-63 W for Bishop Gorman over a very solid defensive team in No. 9 DeMatha Catholic.

Muhammad scored most of his buckets in the paint - his seven thunderous dunks brought a somewhat tame crowd to life early in the afternoon - including a windmill on the break.

If Muhammad can continue to add dribble-moves and play-making abilities to his athleticism and 100%-all-the-time persona, this high school star could be playing on the ESPN networks in a more prominent role than on a Monday afternoon.

In three years, who knows just how far along Muhammad will be?

Well, after his match-up yesterday he had an educated guess as to where he'd like to be.

"I want to be in the NBA and competing to win a World Championship," stated Muhammad confidently.

Why not?
