Maryland Invitational Tournament Preview
Some of the nation's top youth talent will be playing at MIT this weekend
Some of the nation’s best young talent will be in the Old Line State this weekend for the Maryland Invitational Tournament. Boys from the 3rd through 8th grade and girls from 4th to 8th grade will start playing Friday.
MIT takes place in the Washington, D.C. area at various facilities throughout Montgomery, Prince George's, and Fairfax Counties and Washington DC.
14U Boys:
MD Finest might just have the best player in the tournament in Kwame Camon, but there is plenty of competition. D.C. Assault and Team Takeover will by vying for local supremacy. New Rens, Puerto Rico Playmakers, Team adidas and the Southern Kings should also be a factor.

- DC Assault: Joe Hampton, Sam Green, Alani Moore
- PR Playmakers: Edwin Cancel, Nick Washington
- New Rens: Jared Rivers
- KSK: Matthew Bullock
13U Boys:
The competition will be heavy in the 7th grade division with a number of talented squads. Expect strong performances Swish Magic, Broward Sharks, Team Melo, New Rens, New Heights, Team adidas, Team Final, Team Takeover, Team Loaded and WPC.
