Al Jefferson had one of his strongest games of the year at the right time

With Dirk Nowitzki (40 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists) and the Dallas Mavericks putting up a fight in the high altitude of Salt Lake City, Al Jefferson (28 points, 26 rebounds) and company had to step up in a big way in order to keep themselves in position to potentially snatch a playoff birth in the Western Conference.

With a monster stat line that suggested he never gave up on a rebound, Jefferson and the Jazz kept their playoff hopes alive for another night after a 3OT, 123-121 victory over the defending World Champion Mavs.
