Florida Elite wins 2012 adidas Invitational
Kasey Hill, Demarcus Croaker lead the way

With a national television audience looking on, Florida Elite finished off an undefeated week, beating New Heights, 76-68 for the championship of the 2012 adidas Invitational in Indianapolis, Ind.
Kasey Hill led the charge for Florida Elite with 28 points, five rebounds and five assists, and Demarcus Croaker broke out with 21 points of his own in the title game. Croaker was asked to assume a larger role when Brannen Greene moved over to the Atlanta Celtics.
Croaker already has offers from Florida State, Miami, South Carolina and more, and he undoubtedly gained more recognition this weekend.
Chris Walker added eight blocks and eight rebounds for Florida Elite.
Florida Elite also beat No. 8 Garner Road and No. 6 Dream Vision en route to the championship.

The Louisville Magic, led by Five-Star Rated D’Angelo Russell, captured the 16U championship by not only upsetting, but demolishing Team Thad in the championship game, 77-57.
Russell led the Magic with 21 points.
The road to the championship wasn’t easy for the Louisville Magic, who went unbeaten with wins over the Compton Magic, Florida Elite and New Heights.
Team Thad, meanwhile, got by the Atlanta Celtics and Spiece Indy Ice before falling in the championship game.

The Eric Gordon All-Stars entered the Five-Star Power Rankings a few weeks ago by handing Indiana Elite its first loss of the season. They continued to impress by winning the 15U championship at the adidas Invitational by beating the Colorado Hawks, 58-52.
2016 guard Eron Gordon, who already has an offer from Indiana, was the 15U MVP as his team finished the week 7-1. He is the younger brother of Hornets guard Eric Gordon.
But the Eric Gordon All-Stars weren’t the only ranked team in Indianapolis. No. 8 Dream Vision suffered a difficult tournament, going just 1-3. Garner Road was the only team they beat.
The No. 5 Compton Magic, meanwhile, made it to the Final Four, beating CIA Bounce along the way. No. 4 Indiana Elite lost its second game of the season, falling to eventual runner-up Colorado Hawks.
