Team Name: BABC

Location: Boston, Mass.

Current 17U Rank:

Key Wins: The Boys from Boston have seemingly been unstoppable this year. After an amazing title run at Peach Jam that included wins over No. 2 Memphis YOMCA, No. 3 Oakland Soldiers, No. 4 Georgia Stars, No. 5 Team Takeover and No. 9 CIA Bounce, BABC has finally reclaimed its throne as the top team in our Top 25 rankings. BABC has been dominant throughout the summer circuit, outclassing opponents like the No. 8 Mac Irvin FireCBC and Albany City Rocks along the way.
Key Losses: BABC only has two blemishes on its record; One at the hands of a talented Memphis YOMCA team in the beginning of the summer, and one in pool play at the Super Showcase to the Ohio Shooting Stars.

Standing in the way: BABC is currently in Orlando for the Super Showcase, where it looks to continue its outstanding play and solidify its newly acquired spot at the top of our rankings.

Coach’s Take: “This is a program week. Our 9th grade team went to the finals. Our 10th grade team is in the final four. Our 11th grade playoffs start tonight. We’re just trying to win a few medals this week for the program." — Head coach Leo Papile on BABC's goals for the Super Showcase.

Team History: The BABC program has known tremendous success over its tenure on the summer circuit with a list of alumni including: Patrick Ewing, Jeff Adrien and Alex Oriakhi. Soon enough, there will be new additions to this list, including: Nerlens Noel, Wayne Selden and Georges Niang to name a few.
