Newly-installed head coach of the Golden State Warriors Mark Jackson is highly regarded as one of the best high school point guards to ever come out of New York City, a fraternity he considers to be very special.

Nate Archibald. Larry Brown. Lenny Wilkens. Bob Cousy. Kenny Smith. Pearl Washington. Stephon Marbury. Sebastian Telfair. Kenny Anderson. The list goes on. They all hail from the NYC or Long Island area.
