Rodney Purvis has a clear-cut favorite for this year's NBA Championship.
With the NBA season only 12 days away, we decided to canvass some of the top high school players in the country on which team they think will win it all this year.
Here are their responses. What about you? Drop your prediction in the comments below.
Jordan Adams (Lawrenceville, Ga./Oak Hill Academy): "I'm not a Heat fan, but I think they'll win. They'll have the chemistry that other teams don't have coming into this year, because they didn't make trades that will interfere with their team. Plus, they have LeBron, D-Wade, and Bosh. That's why!"
Marcus Paige (Marion, Iowa/Linn-Mar): "Dallas is gonna repeat, I like the addition of Lamar Odom."
Nerlens Noel (Boston, Mass./Tilton School): "I'm going with Boston. They're the hometown team and are getting older, but I think they can do it."
Matt Jones (DeSoto, Tex./DeSoto): "Heat! Because they're on a mission to win!"
(Arlington, Tex./Grace Prep
): "Right now, it's hard to say but I'm going to go with the Knicks if everyone stays healthy—just because they have veterans and experience."
Rodney Purvis (Raleigh, N.C./Upper Room Christian): "Miaimi Heat. Because they have Dwyane Wade."
(Boston, Mass./Tilton School
): "The Celtics are my favorite team. I would love for them to win, but I think it's K.D.'s year with OKC. Nobody's going to see them coming."
