Curry was largely overlooked as a high school player at Charlotte Christian School, but burst into the national consciousness when he took Davidson College on a magical ride to two NCAA Tournament appearances.

The 6'3" combo guard went from unknown to unforgettable - averaging 25.3 points per game over a three-year college career - through hard work, perseverance and winning, but also because coach Bob McKillop offered him a scholarship.
