CIA Bounce brings Summer National Championship north of the border

The Oakland Soldiers may have won Peach Jam, but CIA Bounce was consistent throughout the year. When the Soldiers stumbled in the season's final week, it became clear that this Andrew Wiggins-led group was the best choice to take the Summer National Championship.

Before this week, Sports U. had an outside shot at No. 1, but a loss in the Live in AC title game ended their National Championship hopes.

Houston Hoops had quite a run at the Las Vegas Classic, winning the championship and going 3-0 against ranked teams in the process.

The Mac Irvin Fire made it to the championship game in Vegas before falling to Houston Hoops. Still, they managed to beat the Oakland Soldiers along the way.

California Supreme rebounded nicely from a poor performance at Peach Jam by advancing to the semifinals at the Las Vegas Classic. They lost to Houston Hoops as well.

MoKan surprised pretty much everyone at Peach Jam by beating some of the best teams in the country. They kept that momentum going this week by ending their season with a tournament championship at the KC Hardwood Classic.

The Illinois Wolves ended a solid season by falling in the final eight at the GRBA tournament.

It wasn't exactly a stacked field at 17U Nationals, but the Arkansas Wings won it and should be rewarded.
