Brewster holds onto top seed with win over Tilton, Grace Prep falls again

No. 1 Brewster defeated Tilton by four points again Monday night to hold onto their top spot. Unfortunately for them, they might have to face the Rams one more time at the Prep School Championships in New Haven, CT in early March. Among other headlnes, Grace Prep fell to Keith Frazier and Kimball dropping them out of the top 10, Paul VI completed a WCAC undefeated regular season by beating DeMatha and Wichita Heights undefeated streak came to a halt on Tuesday night against Wichita East, knocking them out of the Power Rankings.

		Record: 28-1 Key Wins: Simeon, Marcus, Bishop Gorman Key Losses: La Lumiere Results: Beat Westwind Prep, 103-80; beat Stoneridge Prep, 71-52; beat Impact Academy 109-63 Weekly Report: The Pilots just have too much talent on the floor at once. San Diego State’s newest commit Winston Shepard scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds versus Stoneridge Prep. Next Up: 2/21 vs. Impact Academy

		Record: 24-0 Key Wins: Huntington Prep, St. Benedict’s, Miller Grove Results: Beat Long Island Lutheran, 48-39; beat Bishop Eustace 53-43 Weekly Report: An ankle sprain held Kyle Anderson out from a victory over Long Island Lutheran. 		Record: 24-4 Key Wins: Notre Dame Prep, New Hampton, Huntington Prep Key Losses: South Kent Results: Beat Phillips Exeter Academy, 65-56; beat Holderness School, 60-37 Weekly Report: 2012’s newest and top recruit Nerlens Noel, will have one more chance against Brewster at the Prep School Championships. Without the services of Wayne Selden, Georges Niang scored a game-high 32 points in another four-point loss to the Bobcats. Next Up: 2/22 at Proctor Academy

		Record: 24-2 Key Losses: Tilton Results: Beat Next Level Prep, 100-84; beat McNabb Prep, 94-48, Weekly Report: This team took its roster, with five Canadian prospects back to Quebec this past weekend to pick up two more victories.
