Slammers solidify their No. 1 ranking

The top two teams in the land, the Columbia Slammers and Indiana Elite, both took this week to show why they are ranked numbers 1 and 2 respectively. Meanwhile, The City dominated local competition to overtake Team SCAN as New York's highest ranked 15U team.

The Slammers stay atop the rankings after playing up with the 16s at their own tournament and winning the whole thing.

Indianapolis, Ind.

The Spiece Run N Slam was one of the few big events this week and the Indy Elite 15s won their age bracket by beating the Illinois Wolves for the championship.

Washington, D.C.

Takeover rounds out the top three and will be back in action on May 18 at the Southern Jam Fest.

The Magic are still riding high after winning their bracket at Real Deal a week ago.

California Supreme
Los Angeles, Calif.

Cali Supreme played a local tournament and had no problem taking care of the competition. For now, they stay in the top five.

New York, N.Y.

The City played their AAU regionals this week and went 4-0, winning by an average of more than 30 points per game.

Bronx, N.Y.

Team SCAN was off this week but will have a chance to get back to its winning ways this coming weekend in Connecticut.

Washington, D.C.

DC Assault is off until the Southern Jam Fest in a couple weeks.

Dream Vision also did not play, so they keep their spot at No. 9.

Houston, Texas

Houston Hoops remains on the brink of falling onto the bubble and will need to play well at the Next Level Baller tournament in Texas this weekend.
