15U Power Rankings: Week 9: June 14, 2012

The City stays at No.1 for the third straight week

The City made a remarkable run at Rumble in the Bronx before falling in the final, but they hang on to the No. 1 spot. Team SCAN was the only other team to play this week, and they were also at Rumble. The third-best team in the nation went 5-1.

The City played 16U at Rumble in the Bronx where they were knocked off by eventual champions Team Scan. The City went 6-1 over the weekend and is certainly a force to be reckoned with whether its 15U or 16U.

D.C. Assault is proving that it is one of the elite east coast programs. They currently have three teams in our power rankings.
3	2	Team SCAN Bronx, N.Y.	Key Championships: Hall of Fame New England, King of the Rock, GymRat Challenge Key Loss: Playaz Basketball Club
Team Scan played at Rumble in the Bronx where they were knocked off by the NJ Playaz. They still had a strong weekend picking up 5 wins along the way.
4	4	Ty Lawson Team Takeover Washington, D.C.	Key Loss: D.C. Assault
Takeover is taking June off, but will play again at The Invitational in July.
5	5	Indiana Elite Indianapolis, Ind.	Key Loss: Eric Gordon All-Stars
Indiana Elite was off this week and holds on to the No. 5 spot and has just one loss on the year.
6	6	Compton Magic Compton, Calif.	Key Win: Pump N Run Elite
The Magic were off but after their strong showing a few weeks ago, they stay at No. 6.
7	7	Pump N Run Elite Los Angeles, Calif.	Key Loss: Compton Magic
Pump N Run played as a team at the Pepperdine Elite Camp where they went unbeaten.
8	8	Columbia Slammers Columbia, S.C.	Key Championships: IceBreakers Invitational, Slammers Challenge
The Slammers don't have anything on the schedule until July, but they hope to squeeze in a quality tournament sometime in June.
9	9	Dream Vision Las Vegas, Nev.	Key Win: Compton Magic (adidas VIP Exclusive Run) Key Loss: Indiana Elite (adidas VIP Exclusive Run)
Dream Vision was off yet again this week.
10	10	Eric Gordon All-Stars Indianapolis, Ind.	Key Win: Indiana Elite
Eric Gordon All-Stars were off but come in at No. 25 again this week.
