MIT shakes up the rankings

Thanks to the Maryland Invitational Tournament, some of the best teams in the country got to face each other this weekend. In the end, D.C. Assault was the last team standing and they have been rewarded. Meanwhile Team Loaded made the Final Four and beat yet another ranked team, so they enter the top ten for the first time this year.

After spending a few weeks beating up on other top ten teams, Dunk Dog took the week off.

Cali Style played up in a 17U tournament out west and made it to the championship game.
3	7	D.C. Assault Washington, D.C.	Key Wins: Team Takeover (x2), Karolina Diamonds
D.C. Assault makes a big jump this week after winning MIT. They beat Team Takeover and Karolina Diamonds en route to the championship.
4	3	Team SCAN New York, N.Y.	Key Championship: New York Regionals Key Loss: Dunk Dog
Team SCAN was off this week, but their résumé is stili impressive.
5	4	Team Penny Memphis, Tenn.	Key Loss: Dunk Dog
Team Penny was off this week and rounds out the top five.
6	6	Team Bibby Phoenix, Ariz.
Team Bibby won the ACES tournament out west, so their spot at No. 6 is safe, despite teams around them earning higher quality wins.
7		Team Loaded Richmond, Va.	Key Wins: Dream Vision, Boo Williams, Playaz Basketball Club
Team Loaded finally cracks the top ten after making it to the Final Four at MIT. They have been accumulating quality wins all year and are well-deserving of their spot.
8	5	Dream Vision Las Vegas, Nev.	Key Championship: EBO (15U)
Dream Vision went without 6'9'' Michael Cage Jr. and paid the price, ultimately losing to Team Loaded.
9	9	Boo Williams	Key Loss: Karolina Diamonds (Super Regional)
Boo Williams made it to the final 16 at MIT before losing.
10	10	Team Takeover Washington, D.C.	Key Win: Georgia Stars Key Loss: D.C. Assault (x2)
Takeover had a nice win over the Georgia Stars at MIT, but still could not beat eventual champion D.C. Assault.
